Contract Quality Manager for the Defense Industry

ABOUT THE POSITION
As a Contract Quality Manager, you will have overall responsibility for Quality Assurance and Quality Control within a specific area. The assignment is central to ensuring that deliveries to international customers meet high-quality requirements and adhere to agreed standards throughout the value chain.
In this role, you will act as the client's representative on quality issues and work closely with both Contract Managers and internal quality and project organizations. You will have an important coordinating role, ensuring that the client's and other stakeholders' quality requirements are understood, communicated, and adhered to within the organization.
The role involves both strategic and operational quality work in a high-tech and security-critical environment. You will be part of the Contract Quality team working with an international customer base and products within advanced defense systems.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Tasks
- Ensure that deliveries meet the customer's quality requirements
- Act as a customer representative on quality issues, including conducting, for example, LAT (Lot Acceptance Test)
- Communicate the customer's and other stakeholders' quality requirements internally within the organization
- Establish, compile, and update Contract Quality Plans
- Approve or, if necessary, reject deliveries to the customer
- Conduct and/or host customer audits related to the current contract
- Collaborate with and support internal quality resources within programs and projects
WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOU WHO
- Has a few years of relevant experience in production, purchasing, development, or quality work
- Has a bachelor's or master's degree in engineering, or equivalent competence
- Has excellent communication skills in English, both spoken and written
- Is used to working with both customers and internal stakeholders
- Has a B driver's license and the willingness and ability to travel both within Sweden and internationally
- Holds Swedish citizenship as the position is security classified
It is meritorious if you have:
- Knowledge of quality standards and management systems
- Experience from the defense industry
- Experience of international collaborations
- Experience in audits or systematic improvement work
